Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Customer Relations Specialists. In this fully remote role, you will serve as a key point of contact for donors, volunteers, community members, and organizational partners. Your work will play an important role in helping us maintain strong relationships and deliver an exceptional experience to the communities we serve.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others, communicating professionally, and working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Compensation & Benefits
- $37.00 per hour
- $28.00 per hour during paid training

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Providing professional, empathetic, and timely support to donors, volunteers, community members, and stakeholders via email, live chat, support ticket systems, community platforms/forums and other communication channels.
- Responding to inquiries, resolve concerns, and escalate complex issues when appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate records, case notes, and communication logs within internal systems and databases.
- Assisting with donor relations, program support, virtual event coordination, and general administrative activities.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with remote teams to ensure a seamless support experience.
- Monitoring incoming requests and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Preparing reports, track service trends, and identify opportunities to improve processes and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Supporting outreach initiatives and help promote the organization’s mission, programs, and community impact.
- Ensuring confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy in all interactions and documentation.
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and mission-focused remote workplace culture.


Preferred Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds and communities.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and remote communication tools such as Slack.
- Previous experience in customer service, nonprofit support, administration, hospitality, retail, or community engagement is helpful but not required.
- Passion for nonprofit, humanitarian, and helping others is strongly valued.
